This research guide is designed to help you get started with researching topics related to engineering.

Citation management tools

Use these tools to manage your citations and format your papers. Each tool allows you to import and export records in BibTeX format.

Not sure which one to use? Think about...

  • Is there a program that you are expected to use, for example by your professor/supervisor/lab director?
  • Is there a program that is used by other people you are working with, for example class/team/lab members or research partners?
  • Are there program features that are important to you? (See a technical comparison here.)
