Nutrition and Food Science

Nutritional science is the study of the effects of food components on the metabolism, health, performance and disease resistance of human and animals;.it also includes the study of human behaviors related to food choices. Dietetics is concerned with the practical application of diet and nutrition on human health.

Food science is the application scientific and technological principles to create and maintain a wholesome food supply. The field is concerned with determining the chemical, biological, and physical nature of food in terms of quality, safety, and nutrition, as well as tackling issues related to processing and storage.
