Statistical Software Support and Consulting Services

Maria Sckolnick, Statistical Design and Data Specialist from UVM Statistical Software Support and Consulting Services, offers help with a range of services supporting statistical design and analysis. These services are provided free to UVM students, faculty, and staff who are not otherwise covered by grant funding for statistical support.

  • Experimental design
  • Selection of appropriate statistical methodology
  • Assistance with power and sample size calculations
  • Interpretation of results of analyses
  • Assistance in responding to reviewers' comments
  • Installation/licensing of software packages
  • Software and programming assistance, including:
    • SAS
    • R
    • GraphPad Prism
    • IBM SPSS Statistics
    • JMP
    • Stata

Howe Library (Room 115), Thursdays 2:00pm--4:00pm

Dana Library (Conference Room), Wednesdays 2:00pm--4:00pm

Researchers requiring more time or a different time to discuss the statistical analysis needs of their project can seek an appointment for a virtual or in-person consultation by submitting a request for assistance form. Researchers are encouraged to drop by at the early stage of the project.
