The UVM Libraries consists of three libraries that support the research and teaching and learning mission of the university and its clinical partners. The Dean of the Libraries is Bryn Geffert.

Librarians at UVM have faculty status and as such are able to participate in UVM faculty governance (see About UVM for more details on this). Library faculty are not eligible for tenure and are not required to seek promotion past the rank of Library Assistant Professor.
