Research Methods and Senior Capstone

Welcome to ENVS 201/ ENVS 202, where it is time to take your environmental research to the next level. Use the links to the left to assist you with conducting successful library research for this class and others. This page is meant to support you in your research process -- if there is any information that would be useful to include here, that you do not see, please let me know, and we can add to it.

Spring 2021 Library Information

Please refer to the library homepage (Welcome Back! banner) for all news of Howe library operations during this time.

Remote access to electronic library resources

To access the library's electronic resources, please  click on the "Connect off campus" green button on the library's home page at before you begin your research.

Then enter in your UVM Net ID and password, same as you do for your e-mail and BlackBoard.

This enables you to use UVM Libraries electronic resources, such as journal article databases and the electronic journal collection.

If you are already logged into your MyUVM or your UVM e-mail, the system will recognize you as a UVM affiliate and it is not necessary to click on the green button on the library home page labeled "Connect off campus."
