Quick video tutorials to help you get started with your literature searching and your organization of sources material.

Remote access

You can access library materials remotely in the following ways:

Direct links

Databases and ebooks linked from this guide and the library website have something built into the URL that will automatically ask you to log in with your NetID (if you aren't already). Super easy!

"Connect Off Campus" (aka EZProxy)

At any time, you can authenticate quickly and easily from the library homepage by clicking the "Connect Off Campus" button:

Connect Off Campus button

Cisco AnyConnect VPN (Virtual Private Network)

The most persistent way to access resources as though you are on campus is with the VPN (Virtual Private Network).

To use the VPN, download the Cisco AnyConnect software from UVM ETS. Once logged in through the software, any site you visit will be as though you are connecting through the UVM network.

NOTE: Use sslvpn2.uvm.edu/full to access library resources.
