CINAHL
CINAHL contains citations and abstracts for the literature of nursing and the allied health professions. CINAHL is owned and distributed by EBSCO. CINAHL includes journal articles, books/book chapters, continuing education, dissertations/theses, web resources, and much more.
Cochrane LIbrary
The Cochrane Library is a collection of six databases created by the International Cochrane Collaboration, and published by Wiley. It includes the Cochrane Database of Systematic Reviews, the Cochrane Central Register of Controlled Trials, the Database of Abstracts of Reviews of Effects (DARE), and several other databases.
Global Health
Covers international applied life and environmental sciences literature, including journal articles, books and book chapters, conference proceedings, newsletters, reports, and gray literature. Includes the CAB Abstracts and Global Health databases.
Ovid MEDLINE
In addition to PubMed, you can also access the MEDLINE database through Ovid Technologies' search platform. Though the search interface looks much different than PubMed's, it is basically the same database,
PsycINFO
PsycINFO covers the literature of psychology, as well as psychology-related literature from business, education, law, linguistics, medicine, and psychiatry. It includes journal articles, books, book chapters, reports, and dissertations. At UVM it is available via license through ProQuest.
PubMed
PubMed is the National Library of Medicine's free version of MEDLINE. To display the icons for UVM's Libraries' e-journals, be sure to access PubMed through a link on a UVM Libraries web page.
Web of Science (WOS)
The Web of Science Core Collection includes Science Citation Index, Social Sciences Index, and Arts & Humanities Citation Index. It can be used for subject searching or for cited reference searching. WOS includes Journal Citation Reports, with impact factors. The MEDLINE database is also available on the Web of Science platform.

ABI Inform
Contains citations and some full-text articles from scholarly journals, popular magazines, and newspapers, plus full-text business cases, conference proceedings, and dissertations.
Academic Search Premier
Multi-disciplinary database that provides access to scholarly journal literature across all disciplines, as well as magazine articles and newspaper articles.
AGRICOLA
Covers the literature of agriculture and allied disciplines, including agricultural economics, farming and farming systems, extension and education, food and human nutrition, earth and environmental sciences.
Agricultural & Environmental Science Database
Includes AGRICOLA, TOXLINE, ESPM (Environmental Sciences and Pollution Management) and Environmental Impact Statements (EIS) databases. Indexes scholarly journals, trade and industry journals, magazines, technical reports, conference proceedings, and government publications. Available via ProQuest.
Biological & Agricultural Index
Covers scholarly literature and popular publications in the biological and agricultural sciences, including agricultural industry, environmental science, veterinary science, and wildlife management.
Environment Complete
Includes journal articles, conference papers, and books in many areas related to the environment, including ecology, energy, natural resources, geography, pollution, law, policy, social and human impacts, and planning. It includes some full text and links to full text.
JSTOR Sustainability
Provides access to journal articles, research reports, and e-books in the area of sustainability. Collection will include a minimum of 150 journals and 5,000 research reports by its completion in 2018.
