Model Skeleton

Dana Medical Library has a life-size model human skeleton available for use in studying gross anatomy. It may be checked out for two-hour periods for use within the library. It is on a rolling stand, and can be easily moved to small group study areas or other study spaces.

The model skeleton is accurately scaled in terms of height and proportions, and contains approximately 200 numbered bones, a flexible vertebral column, and a removable three-part skull.

The model skeleton may be checked out through the main service desk at Dana Medical Library.
