*** The UVM Libraries Interlibrary Loan Department WILL create PDFs and electronically send you selected chapters from books that we own, while you are studying abroad. ***

Note: UVM Libraries cannot send you physical copies of books while you are abroad.

Search the UVM Libraries' E-Book Collection

1) From the Advanced Search screen in CATQuest, follow these instructions: (results will include U.S. government electronic publications):
a) Select: Library Catalog from the top pull-down menu that defaults to CATQuest
b) Enter your search terms
c)  From your results page, look at the facets on the left.
d) Under resource type, select:  Books
    Under quick limits, select: Online resources
e) You will see these limits as Active filters; your search results will reflect this.

 

OR:

a) Search in the Classic Library Catalog.
b) Click on the Guided Keyword tab to get to the keyword search screen.
c) Enter your search terms.
c) Click the pull-down menu to limit by LOCATION --> select: E-Books.
d) Press: Search.

NOTE: To access an e-book, FIRST make sure you are set up for remote access to library resources(see instructions on right).
