Environmental news site committed to balanced and in-depth reporting on environmental issues.

Environmental Protection Agency (EPA)

International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN)
International organization that focuses on global as well as regional environmental issues.

United Nations Environment Programme
Global environmental authority that sets the global environmental agenda, promotes implementation of the environmental dimension of sustainable development within the United Nations system and serves as an authoritative advocate for the global environment.

Global research organization that focuses on providing information about global environmental issues and problems.

C2ES Center for Climate and Energy Solutions
Successor to the Pew Center on Global Climate Change, a widely respected independent environmental think tank  and nonpartisan nonprofit organization working toward practical solutions to climate change.

Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change 
The international body for assessing the science related to climate change,  set up in 1988 by the World Meteorological Organization (WMO) and United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) to provide policymakers with regular assessments of the scientific basis of climate change, its impacts and future risks, and options for adaptation and mitigation.
