Caldecott Medal & Honor BooksThis is a very prestigious award, which often makes the national news. The Caldecott Medal was named in honor of nineteenth-century English illustrator Randolph Caldecott. Since 1938, it is awarded annually by the Association for Library Service to Children, a division of the American Library Association, to the artist of the most distinguished American picture book for children.
While these are not books that specifically address diversity and inclusion, many of the award winners do.
