• Reference Sources: Encyclopedias, dictionaries and thesauri are a good way to get background information on your topic. They will also help you with developing keywords and synonyms to use when you start to search a database.
• Databases: Find newspaper and magazine articles and more using these resources.
• Pre-class Homework: Review these three sources and answer the questions for each before you come to the library. Bring your homework to class.
• Tutorials: These are three short tutorials on how to use citations, databases and Academic Search Premier.
