The Bailey/Howe Library invites you to discover some of its musical treasures!

Library Locations for Music

  • Ground Floor of Bailey/Howe: Media Collections (DVDs, VHS video, CDs). Lots of great lists!
Vinyl LPs and audiocassettes are kept at the Williston Annex and can be brought to the library upon request.

  • 1st Floor: Reference Collection. Look for call numbers beginning with M, ML & MT. Please note the non-circulating status of these books.

  • 2nd Floor: Periodicals, Microfilm and -fiche. Current issues (less than 1 yr. old) of periodicals are filed separately from back issues.

  • 3rd Floor: Music scores, biography (ML410), history, theory, instruction, and more. Many scores are shelved as QUARTO volumes (oversized), so if you're browsing be sure not to miss this section.

Note: If we don't have what you're looking for, we can usually order it or borrow it from another library. See the interlibrary loan link in the left column.
