Use these databases to locate research articles. Start broad and then narrow your search. Remember that articles are often written on more specific topics than books.

Book Reviews

Books reviews can provide you with a useful critical analysis of a book and can help you to understand the place of book in the literature on a subject. Most history databases include book reviews and review essays that review one or more books.

The easiest way to search for book reviews is to search for the title of the book in the title of the article. In many databases you can also limit your search to book reviews.
