Cancer Statistics

Canadian Cancer Statistics

Published annually, this publication provides detailed information about incidence, mortality and other statistics for the most common types of cancer by age, sex, year and province or territory. It is developed through collaboration between the Canadian Cancer Society, the Public Health Agency of Canada, Statistics Canada and provincial and territorial cancer registries with input from the Canadian Cancer Statistics Advisory Committee. Available from 1987 to current.

Cancer Facts & Figures

Published by the American Cancer Society, these annual reports provide the most current information about cancer, including the projected numbers of new cancer cases and deaths for the publication year.

Cancer Statistics Review

The Surveillance, Epidemiology, and End Results (SEER) Program of the U.S. National Cancer Institute works to provide information on cancer statistics in an effort to reduce the burden of cancer among the U.S. Population. Data collection began in 1973 with a limited amount of registries and continues to expand to include even more areas and demographics today.
