Enrich your research by searching for books (not journal articles!) beyond the UVM Libraries.
NOTE: Article databases frequently index book reviews. If you find a review (or citation for a review) for a book that looks useful or interesting, check the library catalog to see if the library owns it. If the library doesn't own the book, borrow it through Interlibrary Loan.
While working on a thesis, reviewing theses/dissertations written by others in your research area is useful for reviewing methodology and the bibliography.
Current dissertations and theses from UVM graduate programs are submitted electronically and are available in ScholarWorks@UVM.
Older theses and dissertations that are available electronically (mostly since 2007) are in the process of being added to this collection. Print dissertations and theses, and pre-2014 electronic ones not yet added to this collection, are searchable at UVM Theses & Dissertations.

The library does not regularly collect dissertations from other institutions. Request them through Interlibrary Loan.
